Listening is magnetic - a strange thing - a creative force"

I feel one of the things I love about photography is that it's a mystery that unfolds. I began my passion for photography when I was about 10 years old; and when I began my professional career I was using film. The wonderful aspect of film photography was that it was completely a mystery. I studied and honed my artistic craft, yet there was always a sense of awe when I had my film developed, either transparency film or for prints. And...this is an experience that I will always remember.

The adventure continues through to this day, because when I am fully present, I'm attracted to certain things, whether there is an aspect in nature that calls to me, or when I'm creating with others. I have the opportunity to see through new eyes. Even if I've photographed in a certain area hundreds of times, there is always something new to see and to experience.
